About the Author
Lynn Benefield
When her precious husband Tim died of an “unknown flu virus” on December 1, 2017, her life forever changed. The bitter, physically cold days of winter paled in comparison to the “winter” of her broken heart.
Lynn E. Benefield is a mother, grandmother, Bible teacher, author, speaker, and was a devoted wife to Tim for 19 years. The writings Lynn compiled throughout her journey through the pain of intense loss form a series of books which provides comfort to widows during each emotional season of widowhood.

THE MISSION
It is my heart's desire to prepare the widow spiritually, emotionally, and physically through the transition of grief (stages of grief). I believe this progression is like seasons; from winter to spring, summer, and finally autumn.
My hope is to come beside those who mourn to help them reach a place of peace in this life.

THE VISION
My hope is to offer comfort, and a place of community for the widow, to point her to the sovereignty of God, and to provide encouragement on her journey through the loss of her loved one.
My prayer is that the widow will discover how to live this life with contentment, joy, and trust in the Lord.
2 Corinthians 1:4
"That we would be able to comfort those who are in any affliction with the comfort with which we ourselves are comforted by God"
